From its original ownership by the Zavaritt family in the 16th century, through the various renovations and changes in management over time, Maloja Kulm has always maintained the same mission: to offer an authentic hospitality experience, encapsulated in three simple words: warmth, welcome, and connection to the territory.
The current management is entrusted to CEO Pietro Tagliabue who, through Speciale Group, oversees several properties in the Engadin’s hospitality and tourism sector, including the Hotel Bernina Hospiz.
His vision is to reinterpret these values in a contemporary key, giving Maloja Kulm a renewed identity — always with full respect for tradition and for those centuries-old values that form part of the cultural heritage of both the Engadine and the Bregaglia Valley.
